Architect and photographer: it is all about the light.

I started designing and loving buildings, and I discovered that I liked to photograph them. And not only buildings: historic places, old streets, monuments. I discovered little by little that photography is not just about the subject, but about the way you show that subject. Colors, textures, light and shadow. If Architecture is the art of successfully managing space and light, then architectural photography must achieve no less than that. This is exactly the ambition of my work.

Arquitecto y fotógrafo: la luz es lo importante.

Comencé diseñando edificios, y pronto descubrí que me encantaba fotografiarlos. Y no sólo edificios: también lugares históricos, callejuelas, ciudades, monumentos. Comprendí que la fotografía no trata sólo del motivo, si no de la manera en la que ese motivo se nos muestra. Colores, texturas, luz y sombra. Si la arquitectura es el arte de controlar el espacio y la luz, la fotografía arquitectónica debe aspirar exactamente a lo mismo. Es lo que persigo con mi trabajo.
